The T-Mobile Big Dance Bus will be travelling across London in the weeks leading up to Big Dance Week 2010 and is making one of its stops at the Danson Festival.
As it weaves its way across the city, make sure you come and visit the classic Routemaster bus in the Park as we celebrate this year’s BexFactor and get you all ready for dancing in Big Dance 2010. Come and experience spectacular routines performed by professional dancers and local dance groups, join in workshops, learn the choreography for the Big World Dance on July 10 and find out how to get kids involved in the Schools Pledge. Wherever the Big Dance Bus draws up and rolls out its mobile dance floor, you can be sure everybody will be encouraged to get on their feet!
The T-Mobile Big Dance Bus aims to give Londoners the opportunity to discover a multitude of dance styles, from ballet to waltz via contemporary and tango, all on their doorstep. The Bus Stop event for Bexley – is organised by the Arts team at London Borough of Bexley, Big Dance and Greenwich Dance Agency (GDA) the lead hub for the South East and will bring you dance stars from the stage and screen and wheelchair dancing as we cater for all likes and levels of experience, from seasoned hoofers to first- timers.
On board the big red double- decker bus, you’ll find an interactive space to learn more about dance classes and performance. The Big Dance Bus event activities are free, and take place on Saturday 3rd July. For more information on Big Dance Bus activities, visit www.bigdance2010.com.
