if you have ever wondered how you can see locally made films and archive footage, then roll up for our Mini Cine – a little bit of local film heaven. London Borough of Bexley is involved in the national Play Builders scheme to improve and provide new play-grounds and our particular part of this national project is a children’s book inspired by Bexley entitled ‘Republic of Play ‘. Authors Steve Tasane and Rosemary Harris and illustrator Gary Drostle will be around to explain how the book was born.
On Saturday, catch up with the T–Mobile Big Dance Bus with its mobile dance floor and take a chance to strut your stuff. All welcome from seasoned hoofers to first timers. You’ll also get the chance to meet our famous puppet Bex – part of the imagination our nation project – she arrived in Bexley some time ago and has made lots of friends – you’ll love her!
Look out for t shirt printers and lots of surprises!
